The Greek Federation of Spirits Producers, within the framework of the principles and commitments undertaken by the Organizations of spirits producers, at Pan-European Level, for the protection and information of consumers, considering:
- the core principles for Self-regulation, as laid down by the non-profit organization for advertising, the ‘’European Advertising Standards Alliance (EASA)’’,
- the "Greek Code of Advertising and Communication" of the Communication Control Council. The Code applies to advertising communications in their entirety, including all words and numbers (spoken and written), visual performances, music and sound effects, as well as material that may come from other sources. In our country, the existence and implementation of the Code is provided for by Law 2863/2000 published in Government Gazette Issue No A' 262/29.11.2000,
- the Code of Principles and Self-Commitment, which was first presented in 2005 and endorsed by the Ministry of Health,
drafted in 2010 a DRAFT SELF-COMMITMENT PRINCIPLES ON THE ADVERTISING OF ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES AND CONSUMER INFORMATION adopted at its General Assembly. The principles of the Commitment Code aimed at informing and protecting, especially vulnerable, social groups such as young people.
