Glinavos estate is part of the living continuity of Zitsa. With ongoing efforts for the continuous improvement of its wines quality, Glinavos winery is one of the leaders in the field of wine- making. Lefteris Glinavos set up the winery with effort and passion in 1978. Today, his son Thomas, who follows his father's steps, is the Managing Director of the winery.
During the first years, the Glinavos family used the native varieties of white Debina, Vlahiko and red Bekari and later on they utilized more Greek and foreign varieties. In this way, the family gives wine-lovers the opportunity to enjoy unique wines with international awards.
Visitors are accepted in the winery during working days, and on weekends after having made an appointment. The winery can also host organized groups of 30-40 persons, giving them the opportunity to know firsthand not only the winery and the wines but also local food.
