As part of its mission, the Greek Federation of Spirits Producers (SEAOP) independently implements actions or collaborates with authorities in the Public Sector, in its strict or broader sense (ministries, organizations, etc), as well as with private organizations (Federation of Hellenic Food Industry [SEVT], Association of Alcoholic Drinks’ Distributors [AADD], etc). The Federation also establishes collaborations and actions with organizations beyond Greece, such as Spirits Europe , the Permanent Representation of Greece to the EU in Brussels and administrative authorities abroad.

In certain cases, these actions arise from the participation of SEAOP in various forums or the planning of actions resolved by the General Assembly or the Board of Directors and in other instances as a response to external stimuli, such as the illegal use of the denomination “Ouzo” by foreign producers.
