HISTORY

Karonis Distillery operates in private facilities situated in Nafplion east of the Palamidi Castle. 

The distillery is run by Yiannis Karonis (5th generation).

The products produced are ouzo, tsipouro , brandy, liqueurs (sour cherry, mastic, lemon) and wine. The company has 3 copper stills in the distillery. 

The distillery is visit able during all the year. Inside the distillery there is Karonis distillery museum.

In our museum there are tools, instruments, machinery, and company papers on display which date back to 1869 and after. See the distillery’s first distil machine and its purchase invoice from France.. along with many other things from the past.
