The GREEK FEDERATION OF SPIRITS PRODUCERS (SEAOP) is a private law entity, namely a non-profit organization. It was founded in 1995 and constitutes the sectoral representative body of Greek companies producing and marketing Greek beverages of vitivinicultural origin (grape marc spirits, wine spirits, raisin spirits and other products of vitivinicultural origin), Ouzo, liqueur, as well as other alcoholic beverages.

The Federation’s statute has been listed in the Registers of the Athens First-Instance Court under Register No. 9734/19.6.95.

SEAOP comprises widely recognized companies in the industry, both private companies and cooperatives, producing brands of established quality and magnitude and encompassing Greece as a whole. The Federation’s members are either natural persons or legal entities and their scope of activity consists in the production and bottling of Ouzo, spirits and other alcoholic beverages. Its members market 70% of bottled beverages in Greece and export 85% of Greek exported beverages.
