‘’DISTILLERY PILAVAS S.A’’ is a company established in 1940 and based in Southwest Greece (Peloponnisos) in a city called Patra, which is the gate with Europe through her port. The Pilavas family are specialist in distilling ouzo, brandy and a variety of liqueurs in owned 3.500 m2 plant in Patra, featuring state – of – the – art distilleries and ultra – modern bottling machines, allows to produce 6.000 bottles per hour.

The Pilavas family has been distilling ouzo, brandy and a variety of liqueurs fro three generations. Our recipe has remained the same for nearly 60 years: fine ingredients, double distillation and lots of patience.

We take pride in our long-lasting relationships with our clients. To us, they’re not just customers but members of an ever-expanding family.

As such, we make sure that no demand remains unsatisfied. We’re strongly positioned in the Greek market and export to nine other European countries, all the while taking pride in remaining a family business with a modern profile.

Our products:

Ouzo – has always been – and still is – our main distilled product. Strictly adhering to Nikos Pilavas’ secret recipe from the 1940΄s, our ouzo remains in stainless steel vats for 2-3 months after distillation. This process bestows our ouzo with a smooth, sweet taste that makes it particularly easy to enjoy. It is available in 37 different packages.

Tsipouro - also traditional Greek product - producing from excellent kind of grape distillate spacing with water.

Brandy and wide variety of liqueurs are produced using the finest ingredients and are widely appreciated for their unique, mellow taste.

Tentura has been the traditional liqueur of Patra for well over a century. It combines the aromas of carnation, cinnamon and nutmeg with extracts of Mavrodafni, Patra’s famous sweet red wine. It is perfect as a digestif after a meal, as a cocktail mixer, or straight up in a shot glass. It is available in 6 different packages.

Presence abroad: our products are being exported to Germany, France, Spain, Netherlands, Belgium, Italy, Bulgaria, FYROM and Cyprus. We are one of the biggest suppliers of Greek and Cyprus Duty – Free shops.

We are certified by both ISO 9001 and HACCP and continue to strive for our ouzo and other products’s ever-stronger presence in the world markets.
