Four generations of Kourtakis tradition and experience in winemaking make up the core and foundation of the steady, annual growth and popularity of Greek Wine Cellars. 
From 1895 to the present, Kourtakis family has played a leading role in the contemporary journey of Greek wine, promoting Greece to the world over through its branded products. 

Greek Wine Cellars D. Kourtakis S.A. is based at Markopoulo, Attica where the headquarters are located together with its bottling plant and product warehouses. The original winery is located in an Oenological Department in Ritsona, Vio¬tia. 
The company’s exports exceed 20.000.000 bottles, annually. 

Since the September of 2021 the company has entered the world of spirits and proudly produces the Tsipouro Allotino which is available on the market with and without anise. Ιt is produced with care and passion from selected fine grapes from vineyards of Thrace. Following the tradition, it is distilled twice, slowly in copper stills. It has crystal clear appearance, with characteristic fruity citrus aromas, a rich velvety taste and a long pleasant aftertaste.
