α) Ούζο/ Ouzo
Τhe Kakitsis Distillery started its history from Asia Minor, in 1863, where in 1863 Kyriakos Kakitsis founded its first distillery. In 1948 she changed hands and handed it over to Lambros Kakitsis, who in turn, entrusted her to his son George.
Since September 2010, Kakitsi Distillery passed into the hands of women, the daughters of Lambros (son of Georgios) and for the 5th generation but with the same love and with the same traditional recipes, the distillery continues the family tradition.
In addition to "Kakitsis ouzo" and "Andrikio ouzo", Kakitsis distillery also produces liqueurs of various flavors such as Mastic liqueur, Mandarin liqueur, Bitter almond liqueur, peach liqueur and lemonchio liqueur (lemon mastic liqueur ideal for cocktails with a ready-made recipe suggested on the back of the label), Rose liqueur, Bergamot liqueur and recently gave its love to a new unique product: MASTIC CINNAMON liqueur.!. It also produces ouzo mastic that you usually drink after eating as a digestive.
Ouzo and liqueur are bottled in special and elegant bottles, arousing the interest of the consumer public.
