FRANKFURT INTERNATIONAL SPIRITS TROPHY
The Frankfurt International Spirits Trophy is the first international competition in Germany to invite experienced amateurs to parcipate as jurors.
Amateurs, well-known sommeliers and other international experts taste and judge the spirits together. The goal is to take consumer tastes better into account in the selection.
Sponsored by Frankfurt Mayor Peter Feldmann, it takes place every year in the historical hall of the famous Gesellschaftshaus Palmengarten, which dates back to 1870 and is located in the heart of Frankfurt-on-the-Main.
The competition has strong ties to the restaurant world and is represented each year by an honorary president of renown (famous German Michelin star chef). For the 2018 edition, Andreas Krolik, chef at the Lafleur restaurant in Francfort (two Michelin stars), is the Honorary president of the Frankfurt International Trophy.
The spirits competition includes 140 different categories to guarantee a precise selection for buyers and a wide choice of spirits for consumers.
